JPMC Candidate Experience page is Hiring a Commercial Card Relationship Manager- Payments - Vice President Near Fort Worth, TX

As a Commercial Card Relationship Manager you will lead a portfolio of approximately 20-25 Commercial Bank – Middle Market (MMBSI) Tier 1 (>$20MM in annual spend) clients. You will cultivate and strengthen relationships with your clients by focusing on growth initiatives and retention efforts. You will also work closely with banking and treasury partners, who own the broader client relationship, to ensure efforts, communication, and focus are coordinated and consistent. You will heavily influence client satisfaction through steady and meaningful contact, punctual responsiveness, informative account reviews, sharing of best practices, partnering with service and product teams to resolve issues, and leading structured revenue generating optimization efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, plan, and implement payable strategies for growth and expansion which include; payments product cross sells and account retention
  • Learn your client’s business and culture in order to consultatively share meaningful solutions, effective working capital strategies, and efficient payment practices
  • Work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Interact and communicate with C-level clients and Executive level internal stakeholders
  • Think critically and exercise sound independent judgment to ensure appropriate outcome for both your clients and the firm
  • Learn to navigate multiple client-facing banking platforms and internal proprietary systems
  • Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced and complex client environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, partners, and senior stakeholders
  • Accountable with a high degree of integrity

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Payments, Treasury or Commercial Card 
  • Demonstrable track record evidencing an exceptional client experience with measurable results and the ability to proactively build relationships and trust with clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, Salesforce, and video conferencing
  • Possess accounting and finance knowledge, understanding of client accounting systems and ERPs;
  • Strong negotiation skills
