Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition & OnboardingResponsible for all phases of the recruitment process for assigned roles by developing sources of qualified candidates, posting, pre-employment screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
Design sourcing strategies to identify recruiting needs and determine the most efficient and cost-effective recruiting methods.
Oversees the delivery of new associate orientation, onboarding journey, and other associate communications across the organization.
Oversees recruiting programs such as associate referrals, sourcing campaigns, job fairs, and community partnerships.
Collaborates with business leaders to focus on developing and executing strategies to help attract, engage, and retain top talent.
Ensures key business metrics related to the recruiting and onboarding process are monitored and goals are achieved.
Leads and conducts the 90-day new associate program and forms tangible action plans based on feedback when appropriate.
Partners with the People and Culture and JPI leadership to develop and implement a meaningful analyst rotation and internship program.
Develop strong relationships with key colleges and universities to attract and retain top candidates for JPI's ongoing needs for strong entry-level talent.
Actively works with leadership on a rotational program that provides program participants with well-rounded exposure and understanding of the different disciplines across JPI.
Administrates the analyst and internship program with the appropriate touch-points with participants.
Manage administration of each rotational movement in conjunction with leadership and the People and Culture team.
Partners with the VP, People Operations, and JPI leaders on performance management coaching.
Understands and executes sound investigative procedures to ensure that potential issues are addressed appropriately and in conjunction with JPI's associate handbook and culture.
Leads the promotional intake process and internal communications.
Performs Exit Interviews and Stay Interviews as needed.
Develops and facilitates JPI learning opportunities related to talent acquisition and performance management.
Identifies online content and learning paths for leaders and associates related to talent acquisition and the analyst/intern program.
Ensures legal compliance with various governmental laws and regulations regarding employment.
Effectively communicates and executes necessary changes to policies and procedures.
Provides policy and procedure explanation and associate benefits information support across the organization.
Manages all Federal, State, and Local reporting requirements (i.e., EEO-1, CA Reporting, etc.).
Provides responsive service to all levels of associates and cross-functional teams when responding to daily requests about People Operations including but not limited to: Workday inquiries and approvals, onboarding, offboarding, job descriptions, policies, job structure, compensation, internal associate movement, training & development inquires, and concerns that get escalated to the onsite People Operations team.
Ensures timely and accurate entries to the HRIS database and maintains/ensures associate records that comply with state and federal requirements.
Provide operational support and training to associates using Workday (HRIS system).
May assist in the annual budget planning process as needed.
Knowledgeable of JPI's payroll process with the capability to run regular and off-cycle payroll on an as-needed basis.
Understanding of JPI's benefit offerings with the ability to assist associates as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience, required.
Experience in multiple facets of human resources, learning and development, and culture with at least 5 years of practical experience.
Experience using Workday is strongly preferred.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute effectively.
Ability to work independently & as a team member.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with the ability to be flexible and adaptable as needs change.
