JPG Resources - Food & Beverage Innovation is Hiring a Prospect Development Assistant Near Huntington, MI

Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have a strong focus on building relationships with target companies, be well versed in online research tools, and have experience working with manufacturing firms, in sales or in business development. Attention to detail and follow through are crucial. Your diligence and effort in winning business will contribute to significant bonus opportunities.
Skills
  • Lead generation; relationship building; influencing skills
  • Proven ability to create and maintain relationships
  • Strong communication skills to communicate JPG's unique position in the market
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
Workday Responsibilities
  • Identify targets and key contacts through online research tools and internal JPG datasets
  • Highlight high potential targets based on research and defined success criterion
  • Contact targets through cold calling
  • Build relationships and credibility with targets
  • Communicate JPG's unique position and approach
  • Assemble target dossiers for strategic lead
  • Assist in setting up calendar for strategic lead; including prep of target research for trade show events
This person will report to Eric Stief, Business Partner at JPG Resources. JPG Resources is a 15 year old consulting firm focused in the food and beverage industry. Eric’s practice area covers JPG’s venture capital efforts via RCV Frontline and also working with clients seeking to identify acquisition targets.
This position includes a performance bonus not listed in the salary range.
