```Duties```
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational curriculum for preschool children
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Plan and conduct engaging lessons that promote learning and development in various areas such as literacy, math, and physical education
- Provide individualized attention and support to students to enhance their learning experience
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes social-emotional development
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment

```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Development. Gateways to Opportunity Level 1 Illinois Director Credential.
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility in working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and procedures
