Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent working condition of the mechanical systems which include plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.
- Prioritize and complete daily work orders within the CMMS software and communicate status updates
- Work with the HVAC controls to ensure proper temperatures and air quality throughout the buildings
- Assist with the timely completion of all required inspections and preventative maintenance contracts
- Assist with interior remodels and carpentry which include, wall framing, drywall hanging, finishing and painting
- Minor electrical and ceiling grid work etc.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of related experience
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry
- Ability to read and correctly interpret SDS and blueprints
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented
- Ability to use hand tools and power equipment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with tasks, projects and schedules
Education:
- High School diploma /Trade School
- College course work in relevant field preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to push/lift 50-75 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking and crouching
- Differentiate between the color spectrum
- Possible exposure to chemicals
- Inclement weather
- Bloodborne pathogens or other potentially hazardous body fluids
- Must be able to work in confined areas or heights such as in ceilings, ladders, lifts and scaffolding
