Family Location: Minneapolis, MN Summary:A bit about us:  We are a family of 4 living in Minneapolis, with a 6-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy. Our current nanny is leaving us to go start a business of her own, so we are looking for an awesome nanny to start with us as soon as possible! We are big on family, friends, and community. On Friday nights you can often find us at home watching a movie and eating pizza! We love to cook and bake together and try new recipes. We are outdoors as much as we can be! We like to go camping, play at the local creek catching frogs and play in the mud! Music is one of our favorite things to have on in the home and you can often catch an impromptu dance party in the living room. A bit about you: You are a natural, nurturing caregiver. You are able to both provide structure throughout the day, but also know when the kids need some time to just be kids and get wiggles out! You are emphatic and educated. You can easily follow our brain-based and natural consequences parenting style and are open to learning more about it. You can easily keep all lines of communication open with us parents and share the good, asking questions and providing feedback. You are not afraid to be silly and engage in imaginative play. You love to be outdoors and will even take the kids out in the winter. You bring with you previous experience as a nanny. Job Duties:  Our oldest is in school during the days, so care will mostly be for our youngest. We find that keeping a structured day is very helpful for him. We provide everything you need from curriculum to arts and crafts to keep things fun, interesting and educational. There will be some housework expected, but it will mostly relate to the children (and getting them to assist you!) We do anticipate that within the next few months that this position will become a nanny share, at which point the job duties may change a bit, and so will the compensation.
