Full Job Description:

Under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Registered Behavior Techs (RBTs) are responsible for the direct implementation of skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans and will also collect data and conduct certain types of assessments (such as stimulus preference assessments). We are seeking dedicated, passionate, and driven ABA professionals to work with our clients.

What to expect after applying:

We are inviting you to interview us, as much as we are interviewing you! Our Clinical Recruiter (a previous RBT with an MS in ABA) will invite you to connect with her for an interview. Then she will connect you to current BCBAs and Behavior Technicians to ask direct questions about what we are all about! Don’t be shy, we encourage all our staff to collaborate with us in an effort to continually improve services and the field of ABA. Our team is here to offer insight and help you decide if Journey, and the field of ABA, is right for you.

Qualifications Required and Job Responsibilities:

  • Required Availability - Weekday hours in the afternoon (after school)
  • Preferred Availability - Flexibility for weekend hours as available
  • Registered Behavior Technician credential that is current and in good standing with the BACB
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • Previous experience with children and/or adolescents, personal and/or professional experience with autism, the field of ABA
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have valid ID and reliable transportation
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and an online ABA software data collection system
  • Must be fully COVID vaccinated

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-year ABA experience

Work Location:

Multiple locations (we offer in-home services, so the location is dependent upon the client)
