Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and repair vehicles
• Communicate with service team regarding repairs
• Provide labor time estimates
• Monitor repair time and update service advisors regularly
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Factory certifications preferred
• GM certifications or experience preferred
• Dealership or automotive repair experience
• ASE Certification or at least 2 years of Service Technician experience
• Valid driver license
• Completion of drug screening and background screening

In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job satisfactorily, have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening.. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
