Job Overview:
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe/ MA to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Scribe/MA, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to accurately document patient encounters and assist in providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient encounters, including medical history, physical examinations, procedures, and treatment plans
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
- Transcribe medical orders and prescriptions
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR); we use eClinical and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely patient care
- Monitor and record vital signs as directed by the physician
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately transcribe information.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
