Heart of Florida Health Center is a community health center with multiple locations in and around Marion County, FL. We are in need of Medical Assistants to provide our patients with the highest level of care. As a valued part of our medical team, our MA's support the doctors and nurse practitioners by providing quality primary care to adults and children.
Duties include pre-visit planning, maintaining equipment and supplies, vitals, taking medical history, documentation and processing referrals.
High School Diploma or GED required, plus CMA or RMA. At least one year of medical office, clinic, or hospital experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Electronic Medical Record experience
Excellent verbal communication
Professional and customer-focused demeanor
Ability to work with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
Must be reliable, and be willing to travel between offices if needed.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish is highly valued, and earns additional compensation!
