Pay Rate Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Position Summary:The Maitre D’ role is a vital member of the service team of Nubeluz. Overseeing the flow of the bookings at Nubeluz at all times, promoting and maintaining the highest level of customer service to all guests to ensure customer satisfaction. Focusing on maximizing the seating of all locations while supporting so everyone can fulfill their roles with excellence.

Job Duties

• Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests whether in person or over the phone

• Demonstrate an understanding of reservationists booking strategies and have full knowledge of reservation system 

• Actively leverages technology to impact communication and operational efficiency

• Maximize reservations for all locations to drive and increase revenue, working directly with reservationists 

• Create meaningful and lasting relationships with guests leveraging every opportunity to exceptional hospitality experiences 

• Connect guests across all JAG locations in NoMad

• Proper communication and follow through of guest’s needs 

• Assist in activating the front of house teams to celebrate guests coming through the door and implement the importance of guest connections

• Work with a sense of urgency and efficiency while remaining composed

• Coordinate with management to “build the book” and boost covers while taking into consideration the needs of our business and the needs of our guests 

• Always find the “yes” for our guests and demonstrate this to other team members

• Collaboration with all host teams of NoMad to ensure exceptional guest experience

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need

What we need from you

• 2 years in a guest facing restaurant role

• A passion for guest experience and hospitality

• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time

• Previous experience with booking platforms (seven rooms, resy, open table, etc.) and communication systems (email, whats app, slack)
