Jorgensen Company is looking for a hard-working, hands-on individual that wants to learn a trade in the Fire Protection industry. The right candidate will be trained on how to inspect and repair Fire Extinguishers and DOT cylinders in our shop as well as potentially in the field. You will also be trained in various aspects of our business.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, perform quality work with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a clean safe work environment.
• Must be a fast learner.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be reliable and responsible.
• Must possess a California Driver’s license with a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance company.
• Must be able to take and pass the Office of the State Fire Marshall test for Fire Extinguisher Service In accordance with California Health and safety Code and Regulations Title 19 within 6 months from start date of employment. We fully prepare each candidate for this exam.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
