We are looking for a Bar Manager to coordinate and supervise Jorge’s bar staff according to food safety standards with a background in high volume, full-service restaurant environments. Your duties include hiring, training, scheduling bartenders, performing quality control on cocktails leaving the bar, ensuring all bar recipes are followed, assisting with managing all Guest Areas while ensuring the highest Guest Satisfaction and ordering and maintaining alcohol inventory to keep up with demand. Must have a minimum of three years of bar experience and at least one year of management experience in restaurants or hotels.

Responsibilities:

· Managing alcohol and bar supply inventory so that all necessary items are stocked for service

· Weekly and Monthly inventory counts of all alcohol products

· Data analysis of inventory and sales reporting

· Creating actionable plans to grow bar sales

· Managing bar recipe preparation for all restaurant and catering needs

· Hiring new staff and providing training to facilitate quick acclimation

· Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.

· Streamlining the bar processes to maintain prompt service times

· Working with ownership to develop and maintain the restaurant cocktail menu

· Maintain clean and organized storage and food preparation areas in accordance with all state and local Health code standards

· Setting regular cleaning standards for the bar staff and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels

· Creating schedules for all bar staff

· Tracking bar finances to identify areas of potential waste

· Spending time interacting with guests in all dining areas and lobby areas, ensuring the highest Guest Satisfaction possible
