Full-Time, 36 hours per week

Job Overview:

The Employee Health RN works directly to support the direction, coordination, and implementation of the Jordan Valley Employee Health program. This role promotes high quality patient care by implementing process improvement, operating procedures, related assessments, monitoring outcomes and updating related policies and procedures as appropriate. This role collaborates with and serve as a resource to the clinical departments, including providing training regarding how to document or record data relevant to those measures and the analysis and interpretation of metrics data.

Duties:

  • Establishes, implements and supports Employee Health program standards including, program plans, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies. 
  • Monitors/maintains and submits required routine documentation to applicable county, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Develops education and monitors nursing compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and clinic policy for patient services and environmental personnel safety. 
  • Responsible for providing training and education to the nursing staff so they can provide operational excellence and quality service applicable to our policies, procedures, and professional standards. 
  • Participates in Quality initiatives, which monitor and evaluate critical aspects of care. 
  • Ensures department protocols and processes are in adherence to AAAHC and various licensing and regulatory requirements. Supports operational leadership in development and monitoring of protocols and processes. 
  • Fosters a service which is consistent with the patient care beliefs and shared management philosophy of the department. 
  • Responsible for effective communication horizontally and vertically within the organization. 
  • Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his or her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • Current RN license. 
  • BLS Certification required or obtained within 90 days

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field. 
  • 3 years of clinical experience.
