• Knowledge of addiction (personal or professional) and a passion for helping individuals recover
• Knowledge about Medication Assisted Treatment
• Ability to clearly and proficiently communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to operate Salesforce (CRM) and LinkedIn proficiently
• Hard-working attitude and an outgoing personality
• Background in sales or customer service

• Use existing database of former accounts, leads and prospects to make phone calls, email and set appointments to make them familiar with the treatment offerings of the organization
• Reach out to new potential referral partners through cold calls and email campaigns
• Clearly communicate the program offerings of the organization to potential referral sources
• Continuous use of the CRM system in updating new prospects, contacts or accounts and adding notes each time there is interaction
• Participate in phone calls and virtual meetings with potential referral sources or other members of the business development team
• Set appointments for in-person meetings with more senior members of the business development team

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Addiction/Mental Health recovery field
• Degree from an accredited university or college preferred
