Legal Word Processor Position Summary:
- Proofread and edit correspondence and legal documents for grammar, typos, formatting and content
- Manage document creation
- Blackline comparisons of documents, advanced formatting and cross-referencing
- Accurately edit from handwritten notes
- Effectively establish and maintain files in electronic and hard copy formats
- Support and overflow assistance to Practice Coordinator and other legal assistants
Legal Word Processor Qualifications Summary:
- At least three years experience within a law firm
- Prior experience within a Bankruptcy or transactional practice group
- Proficient in MS Office Suites
- Ability to draft correspondence, organize and maintain record keeping and filing systems
- Experience redlining, advanced formatting and hyperlinks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
