Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair minor vehicle issues, such as replacing brake pads and spark plugs
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve more complex vehicle problems
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions and addressing concerns
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently within the scheduled time period
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Some practical experience with automotive repair and service is required.
- Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
- Specialized training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components is a plus.
- Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- A valid PA Safety Inspection License and PA Emissions Inspector license is preferred.
- Basic computer skills required for data entry into Dealer Management Systems.
