JONDO is the brainchild of former tennis pro turned golf enthusiast, Michael De Jongh and seasoned optometrist, Pieter Naude .

De Jongh is known for his expertise and love of sport, having reached the pinnacle of an illustrious professional career.

Naude has honed the passion for his craft and is constantly pushing the envelope of optical enhancements. This fusion of passion and technical expertise is how amplifEYE technology was born.

JONDO USA opened its doors in October of 2023 for business, headed by Johan Liebenberg , the Chief Executive Officer. In April 2024 a new General Manager, Morne Botha a PGA.

Professional since 1999 was appointed with the task to grow the brand in the United States.

The founding members from South Africa decided to tailor the lens technology, specifically for golf. With its wide-open spaces and focus on visual acuity, even amateur golfers benefit greatly from amplifEYE technology’s high dynamic range (HDR) and contrast.

In 2018 the patented lens technology won an award for innovation in the optical industry. To date, it helps players of all skill levels to hit em long and straight.

JONDO sunglasses are worn by weekend warriors, all the way up to various World Top 100 PGA players.

At Jondo Sports, our mission is to become a household name brand in the golfing market in the USA. We are driven by the core purpose of giving every golfer in the USA the chance to perform better while taking care of their eyes and protecting them from the harmful effects of the sun.

Our vision is to create a significant impact in the golfing community, providing golfers with

specialized sunglasses that enhance their visual performance and promote eye health. We aim to be recognized as the go-to brand for golfers seeking top-quality eyewear that not only offers exceptional clarity and UV protection but also enhances their overall performance on the green.

One of our long-term goals is to establish a strong presence and a large footprint in the USA. We strive to expand our reach and create widespread awareness among golfers about the importance of eye protection and visual enhancement on the golf course.

By educating golfers about the significance of proper eyewear, we aim to bridge the gap in their knowledge and contribute to their overall well-being.

Golfers often underestimate the importance of eye health and the impact it can have on their game. By offering a wide range of high-quality sunglasses specifically designed for golfers, we aim to educate golfers about the benefits of proper eye protection and visual clarity.

To fulfill this purpose, we will employ targeted marketing strategies, engaging with golfers through various channels such as golf tournaments, golf clubs, and online platforms.

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Salesperson at Jondo Sports USA. The Salesperson will be responsible for demonstration days and activations at golf courses in the Central Florida region.

The Salesperson will generating leads, expanding customer base, and achieving sales targets. The Salesperson will also build and maintain relationships with clients, provide product information and assistance to golfers making a purchase.

This is a great opportunity for a driven salesperson to earn good commission on all sales. This position is commission based only.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Highly motivated and target-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Experience in the sports industry is a plus
