This individual will have experience working at a vehicle parts counter or experience with vehicle/heavy duty equipment parts or repair. Key Responsibilities
* Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment
* Strong communication, customer service, and retail skills
* Understand inventory systems
* Knowledge of all makes of truck parts
* Keep accurate records of special-order parts and open tickets
* Ability to make service and parts recommendations based on inventory, service schedule, and pricing
* Commitment to safety in the parts department
Requirements
* Occasional driving is required
* At least one of the following:
* Technical school degree in automotive or diesel repair
* Experience working a vehicle parts counter
* Experience working with vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs or parts
* Includes but not limited to cars, trucks, diesel, motorcycles, heavy equipment, and military vehicles
* Wholesale distributor experience
