Johnson Press of America, Inc is Hiring a Customer Service Supervisor Near Pontiac, IL

We have a Customer Service Supervisor opening here at JPA and are looking for those who would be interested in working for a small printing company. We invite you to apply and start your career today!

Job Summary

This is a working supervisor position that includes a full client roster as well as management duties. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be the main contact for clients and the liaison between customers and printing facility for our niche market of short run magazine publishers. They will be familiar with the services provided and guide customers through from the time a job is set up through invoicing and more. The supervisor will additionally oversee CSRs to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, proper procedures, and corrections.

Required Skills:

  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills, understanding of sentence structure, rules of composition, spelling and grammar
  • Skilled in communicating through various methods (email, telephone, face to face, virtual etc.)
  • A dedicated level of independence, a self-starting attitude, and ability to set priorities
  • Strategic planning, leadership, and coordination skills
  • Detail orientated individual with avid time management skills
  • Attentive, with strong comprehension and listening skills, ability to process volumes of information and condense into understandable written instructions
  • Ability to collaborate with in all departments and customers
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, along with proficient and accurate data entry
  • Substantial mathematical skills and understanding of press layouts
  • Thorough understanding of the processes specific to publication printing
  • Must be able to multitask and switch priorities in a responsive manner within deadline constraints

Experience:

  • Previous experience in printing is required
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred

Full Time
Hours: 40
7:30 am to 4:00 pm plus overtime

JPA is a drug free workplace. This includes THC/Marijuana.

Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,000.00 - $51,500.00 per year
