The US Surgical Vision Associate Marketing Manager, Product Portfolio, supports the portfolio strategy, with a focus on our Premium Portfolio, in addition to managing downstream sales and marketing initiatives associated with Cataract products in the Surgical portfolio; ensuring Marketing excellence in asset execution and sales support to drive demand.
Responsibilities in this this role include having a deep understanding of the premium product portfolio, practice development and patient education insights, clinical indications, and a focus on executing premium practice support tools under the direction of the Marketing Manager of PCIOLs. The overall goal is to help drive product adoption and higher penetration rates of PCIOLs and premium technologies in targeted accounts.
Product marketing responsibilities include having a deep understanding of assigned product(s) and their clinical indications, with a focus on executing marketing assets and tools and supporting sales training efforts.
Primary areas of responsibilities:
  • Support customer adoption and growth of premium technologies through targeted sales tools and patient education assets and collateral to support innovative and high-impact product growth.
  • Plan and execute the continuation of marketing programs for the existing product through a variety of channels.
  • Align promotional activities with overall business goals.
  • Maintain data on appropriate market conditions/share
  • Develop strong external relationships with customers as well as KOL's
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team such as the Sales Force, Professional Education, GSM, R&D, Medial, Legal, Regulatory, and Clinical to develop and execute successful sales assets and channel plans
  • Support tactical execution of customer events and tradeshows, symposia, and other annual events.
  • Develop and provide input to training materials, presentations and participate in training activities
  • Gather competitive intel and develop effective positioning tactics
Qualifications
Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is required
Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of marketing experience is required; healthcare marketing preferred and/or field sales experience with expertise in premium practice development and sales pull through
Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies
Downstream marketing experience with a demonstrated track record of launch execution
Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity
High learning agility and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, innovation-focused environment
The ability to actively develop talent and culture to achieve results
Candidates must be outstanding communicators, collaborators, and have the ability to influence
Must have a demonstrated track record of strong leadership capabilities with ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
Broad business acumen and P&L orientation is required
This position requires approximately 25% domestic travel.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $144,900. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year.
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - up to 56 hours per calendar year.
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year.
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
