The Johnson County’s District Attorney Office is looking for a qualified applicant to fill the position of Customer Service Technician. The position is located at 150 W. Santa Fe St., Olathe, KS 66061 and provides excellent benefits, including health insurance, wellness programs and discounts, retirement programs, and various other discount programs. • Answers phones, refers calls; greets the public and gives standard information in response to phone, email, or in-person inquiries in a professional manner.

• Creates and maintains files both public and confidential; distributes and generates reports and performs data entry into systems; types form letters, labels, and other business correspondence; proofreads information; copies, schedules appointments, meetings, and other functions.

• Assists the public with completing routine forms when appropriate; collects forms and any supporting documents, reviews for accuracy and completeness; routes forms to appropriate locations or staff.

• Calculates and collects fees for payment; resolves a variety of basic public complaints and issues; completes preliminary audit of money intake and credit card payments.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

One year of customer service or work related experience is preferred.

Fluent in Spanish is preferred.

Experience can substitute for education. Education can substitute for experience.
