Johnson College is Hiring an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor Near Scranton, PA

Johnson College is currently seeking part-time Mathematics instructors to teach daytime and evening classes. These are on-campus assignments with face-to-face instruction for the fall 2024 semester. Teaching duties will include Algebra I and various other 100- and 200-level Mathematics courses. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, employing various teaching methods, providing informed feedback on assignments, maintaining scheduled office hours, adhering to College policies and procedures, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualified applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus in Mathematics or closely-related fields. A Master’s degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus in Mathematics or closely-related fields is preferred. Applicants with other degrees may be considered if a concentration in Mathematics is provided. Previous experience teaching post-secondary Mathematics courses is preferred.
