Job SummaryThis position primary objective is to maximize all resources to expand sales, distribution and share for all JBL’s suppliers in the on premise division. This role will be responsible for delivering superior execution in the on premise channel across key influential consumer accounts. This position will be based in Las Vegas and will oversee 3 District Managers and up to 13 Sales Consultants and 1 Customer Development Manager, and a team of 3 Oxford Street Luxury Wine & Spirit Specialists. This role will also be responsible for building the capability of the sales team and work closely with the General Manager to identify opportunities and grow market share in the on premise trade.

  • Setting and managing monthly objectives against programming and activation.
  • Providing communication on marketing initiatives.
  • Plan out activation calendar against focused brands.
  • Clearly understanding the overall on premise business looking at both positive and negative trends in the market place.
  • Bring key insights into what our competitors are doing in the market.
  • Building key strategic relationships with key accounts and influencers.
  • Equally important focus on total revenue and profit; Includes supplier designated priority brands.
  • Set strategic directions with GM.
  • Coordinate/schedule activity of promotional programs, custom promotions and special events.
  • Manage both supplier and Johnson Brothers budgets.
  • Build solid relationships with suppliers.
  • Provide input and trade insights on all program plans and targets on monthly basis.
  • Integrate these monthly programs into the JBL’s program calendar.
  • Assume responsibility/accountability for achieving programmed goals monthly. Cascade these goals and responsibilities to team while holding managers accountable/responsible for their team roll up.
  • Develop monthly pricing and QD strategies.
  • Formal training program to include supplier portal training.
  • Develop standards in compliance with supplier directives and expectations.
  • Supervise the establishments and maintenance of all sales territories.
  • Recommend key account promotions.
  • Evaluate staff and build succession plans.
  • Utilize all tools available to track performance and results of monthly goals.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in On Premise.
  • Proven history in sales and/or marketing.
  • Strong influencing and managing capabilities.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Ability to be impactful in market day one in role.
  • Previous experience in high profile/high volume hospitality/resort account management in CPG industry strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years industry experience.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred (or analogous industry experience/skills).
