Position Summary:
Reports to the Director, of Special Projects & Financial Analysis and is responsible for managing all assignments associated with the operating expense performance of the institution. This person will serve as the primary liaison for budgeting, variance analysis, cost accounting, financial accounting, decision support projects, and other functions as assigned.
Requires a comprehensive understanding of budgeting, cost accounting procedures, and systems; high levels of proficiency in the finance/accounting area; and working knowledge of PC-based software applications are needed to manipulate and analyze available data.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or another related field. A Master's degree can substitute for some experience. MBA/MHA and/or CPA (preferred)
Requires a minimum of five years of experience in finance, preferably in a healthcare setting.
