The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Johns Hopkins is an 18 bed unit with a diverse patient population receiving various types of surgeries in this ICU. This can include but is not limited to: Abdominal Transplant, GI Surgery, Trauma, Vascular Surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures and General Surgery. The SICU team is composed of a unit based multi-disciplinary team of RN’s, MD’s, Clinical Technicians, Support Staff, Respiratory Therapists and Pharmacists. Registered Nurses (RNs) in the SICU take great pride in providing high quality post-operative surgical care every day! Teamwork is the common thread to everything the SICU does, come join our team!

***Nurses hired with an Associate’s degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of your start date.
