The Johns Hopkins Hospital Schools of Medical Imaging is proud to offer a post-primary program in MRI for technologists who are interested in advancing their career in the field of medical imaging. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career, while being paid!
Learn to perform diagnostic MRI of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies in provided classroom and clinical settings. Training includes MRI Anatomy, Protocols and Procedures, MRI Physics, MRI Safety and IV Certification. Clinical experiences offer interactions with a variety of patient populations including Inpatient, Outpatient, Critical Care, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Oncology. Obtain didactic and clinical requirements to prepare for advanced certification in the field of MRI. Upon graduation, a two-year work requirement at any Johns Hopkins location is required.
In this position you have the opportunity to rotate to 1 or more of the following free-standing Imaging site locations in addition to The Johns Hopkins Hospital:
This program takes advantage of the wide range of imaging resources available at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Outpatient Center, and Johns Hopkins Imaging sites. These clinical facilities provide training on state-of-the-art equipment and clinical experiences that may not be found at other institutions. The Johns Hopkins Hospital is consistently recognized as one of the premier health care organizations in the United States and the world. This program is dedicated to training technologists who exemplify this standard and degree of excellence.

Full Time (40 hours)
Day Shift, 7:00am-3:30pm (primary)
Evening shifts required up to 4 weeks during the 6-month program
