Johns Hopkins Medicine is Hiring a HR Technology Analyst II Near Baltimore, MD

Position Summary

The HR Technology Analyst II partners with HR clients to analyze work processes and flow, improve processes, and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HR Technology Analyst II develops project plans, adheres to project schedules, and works effectively with peers to support technology priorities. This position serves as a technical/functional systems expert and assists with ensuring data integrity, implementing and testing system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HR Technology Analyst II also supports HR upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.

Required Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analysis, Computer Science or related field (Required)
  • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
  • PMP Preferred

Required Experience

  • Three years of progressive Human Resources, reporting or systems experience required

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, HR systems, computer software or database experience.
  • Experience creating automated reports and self-service tools.
  • Experience working with data coming from multiple data sources, including HR HCM systems (like SAP, SuccessFactors) and business warehouse applications required.
  • Experience with data from applicant tracking/talent onboarding systems preferred.
  • Experience defining HR data strategy, gathering business requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, documentation, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to translate technical information & data into a language key business partners can understand
  • Ability to synthesize information, provide advice, and address needs independently.
  • Possesses an analytical mind for translating user needs to determine when software changes should be made and how systems and processes can be made more efficient.
  • Ability to use query/reporting and visualization tools: Cognos Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, TOAD, and BI Reports.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, local, and JHHS policies and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), VISIO, and MS Project
