Position Summary:
The Food Service Worker, under general supervision and in accordance with specific instructions, prepares food and work areas for serving food and beverages to patients, visitors, and staff. Greets customers, fills customer orders and responds to concerns.
Education:
Work requires a level of math and English as normally acquired through the completion of an eighth-grade education. Work requires the ability to read and follow instructions.
Licensure/Certifications:
None. Serve safe sanitation class desirable
Experience:
Requires one to three months on-the-job orientation to acquire necessary familiarity with department policies and procedures, work routines, and to learn to operate area-specific equipment. Previous work experience in food service is preferred
