Position: Barista/Morning Coffee Bartender

We are looking for an experienced Barista, or Bartender looking for a morning gig, to staff our coffee bar. Although we'd prefer someone with experience, we are willing to train someone with the right personality and commitment to incredible customer service.

How you’ll flex:

*Open and close the specialty coffee operations, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned, calibrated, and ready for service for the next morning. *Prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision, following established recipes and guidelines. *Uphold our commitment to delivering the highest quality beverages by consistently maintaining the taste, appearance, and presentation standards. *Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized customer service to create a positive and memorable experience for guests. *Keep abreast of our coffee offerings, making recommendations and sharing your enthusiasm with customers. *Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests. *Maintain a clean and well-organized coffee bar area, ensuring proper storage of ingredients and supplies. *Provide insights and recommendations to ownership regarding menu offerings, drink recipes, and operational efficiency. *Support front-end operations during periods of high volume; expectations include- *Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude as they enter. *Assist customers in placing orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing recommendations. *Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between food and beverage orders. *Accurately input customer orders into the POS (Point of Sale) system. *Handle cash and electronic payments, providing correct change and processing transactions efficiently.

Bonus points if you:

*Have prior experience as a barista or bartender. *Are a coffee nerd and know who James Hoffman, Lance Hedrick or Sprometheous are. *Can pour latte art. *Have flexibility in scheduling, including weekends.

How we’ll take care of you:

*Competitive compensation based on experience and performance PLUS TIPS. *Formal Barista and specialty coffee training *1 meal and coffee drink of your choice per shift.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $17.00/hour.
