Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the office
- Full charge bookkeeping using QuickBooks Pro
- Construction office - must know how to do Certified Payroll or at the very least know what CP is, how to look up the rates, know how to figure the fringe benefit rate, overtime rate, State PW rates and DB rates. (or) be willing to take a class to learn all of the laws and regulations of a PW project.
- Weekly payroll, payroll deposits weekly & quarterly. Monthly billing, A/P, writing requests for change orders, tracking job costs etc.
- Filing
- Read thru contracts, insurance certificates, lien waivers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite & QuickBooks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed

This is a (1) person office. The owner/estimator is in the shop area 50% of the time and the other owner/project manager is in the field. Need to be able to work with both of them at different levels. You must be available 8 hours a day but the actual hours at the office are flexible. Just need to get the work done.
