Watercraft Logistics Analyst

Overview

JHNA is currently seeking multiple Watercraft Logistics Analysts to support our government customer at located at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA. In this role you will be providing support to the LMRD Combat Support and Sustainment Division (CSSD) Army Watercraft Systems (AWS) team. LMRD AWS is the User training representative in the materiel release process; and the lead developer for training requirements associated with the acquisition, "Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS)", of new AWS which are operated and/or maintained by AWS Transportation Soldiers.

The team provides direction for developing and implementing Operator and Field Level maintenance training programs to support new or emerging systems; verifies all maintenance Technical Manuals (TM) and Transportation (TC) proponent operator technical manuals in accordance with (IAW) AR 25-30

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Provide personnel, management, and any other items and services not Government furnished necessary to perform non-personal for Army Watercraft Systems (AWS) Logistics Product development support.
  • Provide Logistics Product Development Support to the US Army Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) - Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE), Logistics Materiel and Readiness Directorate (LMRD), Combat Support and Sustainment Division (CSSD).

Qualifications Required

  • Must have ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of DoD, Joint, and DA logistics management and acquisition policies, and procedures with particular emphasis in Watercraft Operational Readiness (OP) reporting procedures, Watercraft Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) to conduct technical and logistical studies and assessments to develop and evaluate new methodologies, equipment, processes and policies applicable to the centralized life cycle management.
  • Skill in representing the Sustainment and Combat Support Division in conferences and In Process Reviews (IPRs).
  • Knowledge of transportation watercraft/terminal unit roles, responsibilities, functions and missions in order to participate in the development of various OP and RAM Analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD acquisition plans sufficient to recommend actions that shall provide the best maritime domain sustainment operations within the Future Force.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point, Excel, Project Manager and Outlook.
  • Experience in logistics product development and operations research disciplines, HQDA G4/G8 Divestment procedures, Technical Manual (TM) development, Unit Readiness reporting procedures, Acquisition Process, and Program Materiel Release, Type Classification procedures, Army Test and Evaluation procedures, Product Quality Deficiency Reporting (PQDR), and working knowledge of the AWS Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) and Watercraft OCCM process.
