An extraordinary opportunity to join of a culture you can be proud of. Come and explore an employment opportunity at a prestigious lower Westchester 197 bed skilled nursing facility. As a Patient Care Attendant at Andrus on Hudson, you will work closely with our nurses and healthcare professionals to provide compassionate and individualized care to our patients.
To provide direct resident supervision under an RN Manager on our memory care floor. To assist in maintaining a safe, positive physical, social and psychological environment for all residents and patients.
Salary: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Full Time Opportunity, 5 days a week, must be available every other weekend, 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and maintain resident safety in the unit Lounge.
- Promote fall prevention and hand washing protocols.
- Assist in recreational activities.
- Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Maintain resident confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Dedicated to providing compassionate resident care
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
* Home Health Aide (HHA) experience is a plus (not required)
