Position Description
I-Nature and Scope:
Reports to the deputy CFO in Liege, Belgium. Produces the accounts of the JOHN COCKERILL Group's legal entities in compliance with the applicable accounting, legal and tax legislation. To do this, uses and organises appropriate means necessary to achieve the department's objectives with a strong client -supplier relationship slant. Controls and guarantees the quality of the financial information provided.The function is transversal to the Sectors and requires general and specialised knowledge in the areas ofcompetence.

II-Key Responsibilities
A-Leadership, HR and Strategy

• Manages and leads the perimeter teams
• Plans and correctly uses the available resources
• Maintains close relationships with the business in a balanced partnership
• Is the country's technical expert: SAP & IFRS key user
• Streamlines processes and implements best practices.
• Is a true agent of change
• Participates in the establishment of new organisations based on the Group's evolution

B-Accounting

• Encrypts or has encrypted all company transactions (suppliers, clients, general accounting, analytical accounting / projects) in accordance with current accounting policies in force locally and in the Group.
• Reconciles supplier invoices with the 'Purchase Orders'
• Participates in and coordinates closing, in conjunction with the various departmental contacts, including the management audit
• Establishes the necessary controls to ensure the accounts' reliability and justification
• Meets the monthly, quarterly and annual closing calendar
• Produces statutory results / IFRS of the perimeter's departments with the correct timing. Reconciles intercompany accounts
• Draws up reports relating to the position
• Reconciles (results / equity) the different accounting standards (statutory / IFRS). Reconciles with management results
• Observes official statutory requirements. Coordinates legal aspects

C-Cash

• Coordinates and plans the external audit Cash
• Establishes and uses daily cash forecasts for the cashpooling johncockerill.com 2/3
• Generates payments and implements the necessary controls
• Determines the daily banking position (loans - investments)
• Applies the loans and investments banking strategy defined by the Group
• Manages relationships with banks for 'back office' aspects
• Manages exchange contracts and performs the necessary follow-ups
• Acts as "Group Bank"
• Manages software required for cash management

D-Tax

• Follows up bank signing authorities Tax
• Produces / supervises the perimeter's tax returns
• Draws up the business cases for all tax schedules
• Issues the country's tax declarations (VAT, ...) and all legal statistics
• Manages the relationships with the tax authorities
• Manages the necessary IT tools Insurance

E-Insurance

• Is the link between the operating bodies and the Group's "Risk Management and Insurance" department
