Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will join our client's dynamic team and play a crucial role in maintaining their financial integrity and supporting growth initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare standard and recurring journal entries.
Conduct monthly corporate balance sheet account reconciliations.
Perform General Ledger month-end close activities.
Support monthly reporting activities and provide analysis.
Assist in quarterly forecast and annual budget processes.
Undertake other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
3-5 years of current general accounting experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Professional demeanor and ability to work extended hours as needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to develop and refine processes and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
Experience with JD Edwards One World 9.2 ERP software.
Familiarity with Blackline Software for account reconciliations, journals, and tasks.
Proficiency in PowerBi and Planful/Host Analytics.
Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
