Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Port Dispatcher. In this role, you will need some experience in port dispatching or international shipping, or hazardous paperwork experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring on-time delivery
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth transportation operations
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective supply chain management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience port dispatching
- Knowledge of international shipping
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using technology tools such as fleet management systems, transportation planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite
-experience in hazardous paperwork
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
