Sourcing Specialist – Recruiting  

To be successful, you should have an excellent understanding of the tech talent market. You will have in-depth knowledge of the market, our competitors and how to attract top talent. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Quick learner who can ramp up quickly and learn the talent needs of the recruitment team, such as job requirements to assess candidate quality, skills and fit to identify the best candidate for a position.
• Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
• Utilize talent acquisition strategies such as leveraging personal and professional social networks, research and industry-specific events (i.e., college and alumni career fairs) to identify potential talent. Continually utilize online acquisition resources and Applicant Tracking System(s) to identify and recruit the best candidates and support a pipeline for future opportunities.
• Demonstrate labor market expertise for the markets in which you source
• Demonstrate an analytical ability to understand the business need and the job specification, and to assess the fit of potential candidates
• Approach potential talent in a strategic, focused way to create a dialog that attracts talent to consider full-time employment and contract employment.
• Proactively research and investigate innovative and cost-effective sourcing strategies.
• Maintain a focus on sourcing diverse candidates, to continue to build and develop the diversity of your pipeline.
• Serve as a business partner and consultant to the recruitment team and provide a consistent and excellent customer service experience during meetings and interactions.
• Provide project support and assist with process improvement initiatives for the department or cross-functional groups. 

Skills and Qualifications 

• Highschool diploma
• 1 year min. of sourcing experience in the tech market, preferably professional services
• Proven experience in sourcing processes.
• Knowledge of ATS tools a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
• Sound time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to shift directions quickly and ramp up fast
