The Assistant Ombudsperson is an entry level position that plays a vital role in serving the entire University of Iowa community, including students, faculty, staff, and all members of UI Healthcare. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive dispute resolution service that is confidential, impartial, informal, and independent.
Ensuring that every member of the University of Iowa community receives fair and equitable treatment.
This position is eligible for a combination of on-campus and remote work within Iowa once training has been completed. Work arrangement options will be discussed during the hiring process. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
