Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a full-time Digital Media Services (DMS) graphics illustration position supporting U.S. Space Force operations at Schriever SFB, CO.
• Serves as primary point of contact for in-person, over the phone, and on-line customer inquiries and requests for graphics and multimedia services.
• Work is performed using industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite software in an office environment performing various graphics design and production work requests to include digital, printed, and poster production. 
• Responsible for collaborating with customers on specific design elements and interpreting customer needs. Receives work requests and coordinates requests with other multimedia work types such as the DMS photography function.
• Collects production data and compiles information into monthly reports using MS Excel and other administrative tools, to include Adobe PDF, MS Outlook, Word, and MS Teams.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma; Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Must have 1-3 years of art, graphics, and illustrative experience using traditional hand and computer-based skills and Adobe CS and other design tools
• Must possess basic knowledge of photographic principles and camera use for basic photo assignments in support of design functions
• Ability to pass a preliminary drug and background check and be eligible for a Personnel Security Clearance (criminal background, active drug use, ongoing
• financial distress, and other factors may prohibit the granting of a clearance and render the candidate unacceptable)
• Must be a US citizen, possessing or eligible for a DoD security clearance

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment.

If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to

communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
