Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain 3D printers and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance and output quality.
2. Prepare and process 3D printing jobs, including setting up print parameters, loading materials, and monitoring print progress.
3. Troubleshoot technical issues related to 3D printing processes, equipment, and software to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
4. Perform routine maintenance and calibration tasks on 3D printers to ensure accuracy and reliability.
5. Collaborate with engineers and designers to review project requirements, provide input on feasibility and manufacturability, and suggest design modifications as needed.
6. Manage inventory of 3D printing materials, including filament, resin, and support structures, and reorder supplies as necessary.
7. Document and maintain detailed records of 3D printing activities, including job parameters, material usage, and equipment maintenance history.
8. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Associates degree or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in 3D printing or additive manufacturing is preferred.
2. Proven experience working as a 3D printing technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
3. Knowledge of Lolzbot 3D printers a Plus
4. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to 3D printing processes, equipment, and software.
5. Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with 3D modeling and design is desirable.
6. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity, with the ability to work with small parts and delicate components.
7. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to learn new skills and technologies as needed.
