Job DetailsResponsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise a variety of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to estate planning, trust administration, and estate administration.
- Assist clients in business planning and business transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex legal issues related to trust and estate law.
- Collaborate with accountants and tax advisors to develop tax-efficient estate plans.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings, if necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax law and regulations that may affect estate planning and trust administration.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service and legal advice.
- Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and participate in professional development activities.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a trust and estate attorney.
- Proven experience in estate planning, estate administration, trust administration, business planning, business transactions, and tax law.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional client service skills with the ability to interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
