We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Steel Detailer to join our dynamic team. This role is a critical piece of our construction projects, as you will be responsible for creating detailed plans and blueprints for our structural steel components.

You will work closely with our team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure that our projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities :

1. Creating detailed blueprints, plans, and drawings for structural steel components using CAD software.

2. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.

3. Reviewing and interpreting architectural and structural design drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

4. Providing precise detailing of steel structures, including connections, welds, bolts, and other components.

5. Conducting site visits to verify dimensions and ensure that the fabricated steel components align with the design specifications.

6. Creating and maintaining project documentation, including material lists, assembly instructions, and other relevant information.

7. Working closely with the construction team to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the construction process.

8. Continually updating knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices to ensure the highest level of accuracy and quality in your work.

Qualifications :

To be considered for the Structural Steel Detailer position, you must have :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in structural drafting, rebar detailing, structural engineering, blueprint reading, and schematics.

2. Proficiency in CAD software, specifically for structural steel detailing.

3. A strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.

4. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.

5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

6. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

7. A degree in structural engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
