We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Permanent Engineer to join our ever-growing team in the Manufacturing industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to leverage their skills in a challenging, fast-paced environment. You will be a part of a team that is dedicated to continuous improvement, product development, and lean manufacturing. Your role will be instrumental in driving our manufacturing processes forward, ensuring we continue to innovate and lead in our market sector.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Engineer, you will:
1. Drive continuous process improvements, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Lead product development initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
3. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows and minimize waste.
4. Utilize your mechanical engineering skills to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve manufacturing equipment.
5. Manage complex projects, coordinating resources and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
6. Apply Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality and reduce process variability.
7. Utilize your knowledge of industrial engineering to optimize production systems and processes.
8. Create and modify 3D models for product design and manufacturing processes.
9. Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of production.
10. Apply your electrical engineering knowledge to support the maintenance and improvement of manufacturing systems.
11. Design and optimize machinery and equipment to improve production efficiency.
12. Manage engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
13. Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing processes and technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in process improvement and product development.
4. Solid understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles.
5. Demonstrated skills in mechanical engineering and project management.
6. Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
7. Knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices.
8. Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
9. Experience in quality control within a manufacturing setting.
10. Knowledge of electrical engineering as applied to manufacturing systems.
11. Experience in machine design and optimization.
12. Proven track record in engineering management.
13. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
