Job Details
We are seeking a Contract Sr. Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Sr. Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and are manufactured to the highest level of efficiency. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits of manufacturing processes, suppliers, and internal systems to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and SPC (Statistical Process Control) activities to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain QMS (Quality Management System) documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to ensure that products are manufactured to the highest level of efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Conduct training sessions on quality-related topics to ensure that all employees understand the importance of quality and their role in maintaining it.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATF (International Automotive Task Force) standards and requirements.
• Experience with FMEA and SPC methodologies.
• Knowledge of QMS (Quality Management System) requirements and documentation.
• Experience conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
