We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating and managing mechanical projects for commercial buildings. You will be working on a variety of projects, including plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical projects, including plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
• Identify and quantify project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion and within budget.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate project proposals and make recommendations to improve project efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience in mechanical estimating in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with commercial construction projects and permit costs.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other project management software.
