Are you a seasoned paralegal with a passion for justice and a knack for detail? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with attorneys and clients in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing top-quality legal services while honing your skills in a range of legal areas, including personal injury, litigation, legal research, and document review.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Paralegal, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Assisting attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
2. Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
4. Reviewing, organizing, and maintaining case files and legal documents.
5. Providing assistance in the courtroom, including taking notes and organizing exhibits.
6. Utilizing legal software for case management, document review, and other tasks.
7. Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
8. Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the firm's clients.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury and litigation.
2. Proficiency in legal research, legal writing, document review, and legal documentation.
3. Experience with legal software and case management systems.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. A paralegal certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred.
