Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the entire product development process, from initial concept to final production. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, utilizing your skills in 3D modeling, creating engineering drawings, and material selection to create innovative, high-quality products. If you are a creative problem solver, have a strong technical background, and are passionate about design and manufacturing, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and test mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks and other 3D modeling software.
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product design, feasibility, and implement design solutions.
• Provide technical advice to the team regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs.
• Design or redesign mechanical devices, creating blueprints so the device can be built.
• Develop a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure all designed products meet the requirements for quality, safety, and functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience in product development and design for manufacturing.
• Excellent technical drawing skills.
• Creativity and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
