We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled individual to work with cutting-edge machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our machinery and equipment are always in top-notch condition. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include
- Carrying out regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and rectify any potential issues before they escalate.
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on a wide range of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Using a variety of tools and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Assisting in the installation and set-up of new machinery and equipment.
- Documenting all maintenance and repair work, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
- Providing technical support and advice to other team members, as required.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in machinery and equipment technology, and making recommendations for improvements.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance technician role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, and the tools required for their maintenance and repair.
- Must be flexible with 1st and 2nd shift schedules.
- Spanish speaking a plus
- The ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
- A relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship would be highly advantageous.
- Physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver’s license, as the role may involve travel to different sites.
