We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and passionate Permanent L&E Junior Associate to join our dynamic legal team.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to engage in meaningful work in the legal industry, specifically dealing with labor and employment law.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including wage and hour issues, single-plaintiff harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent L&E Junior Associate, your duties will include but not be limited to :
1. Assisting in the preparation and management of cases related to wage and hour disputes, single-plaintiff harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims.
2. Conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing case strategies under the supervision of senior attorneys.
3. Collaborating with the legal team to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and case management efficiency.
4. Participating in client meetings and hearings, offering valuable insight and legal advice.
5. Staying updated on the latest legal trends, court decisions, and regulations in labor and employment law.
6. Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations at all times.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent L&E Junior Associate position will possess the following qualifications :
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 0-3 years of legal experience, preferably in labor and employment law but civil litigation is fine.
4. Proven experience with wage and hour issues, single-plaintiff harassment, discrimination, and retaliation claims.
5. Exceptional research and report-writing skills.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and to communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
