Overview :

We are seeking a motivated Insurance Coverage Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience, exceptional research and writing skills, and be licensed to practice law in New Jersey or New York.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior clerkship experience.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, coverage disputes, and claims resolution.
• Draft coverage opinions, memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Assist with all aspects of insurance coverage litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay informed about developments in insurance law, regulations, and industry trends.
• Provide timely and strategic advice to clients regarding insurance coverage issues.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey or New York State Bar.
• 1-3 years of experience practicing insurance coverage law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Prior clerkship experience.
• Familiarity with insurance policies, regulations, and industry practices.
• Experience with insurance coverage litigation, including motion practice and courtroom appearances.
• Knowledge of relevant statutes, case law, and legal principles governing insurance coverage matters.
